“My name comes from my favorite poem called ‘The Stolen Child’ by W.B. Yeats. In it, fairies steal children away from their homes to keep them safe from the pains of the world. The duality of help/harm has always been so interesting to me. Is it sinister or hopeful? Are they stealing these children away to a scary place or is the scary place the world you’re in now?”
